February - People Interacting
"Battle of the judges" see below
Guidance note from our club chairperson on the Battle of the Judges Competition The theme of our next meeting - on 5th Feb - is 'Battle of the Judges' the Competition title is 'People Interacting'
The judging will be done in three stages:-
Stage 1 & 2 - Tony and Mike will both judge the images separately
Stage 3 - The rest of us will also judge the same set of images
This is how it will work:-
The entries will be put onto our club website on Wednesday 28th www.woolercameraclub.org (This link should take you directly there).
Under the heading 'Competitions' you will find all the entries (See below). Please study them all and decide which ones you think should win.
I will need 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 3 x Highly Commended.
Please write down your choices, numbered in order, on a piece of paper and hand it to me when you arrive at the meeting. Mike & Tony will also give me their decisions on arrival.
If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to vote you can email your results to [email protected]
We will project the images and Mike & Tony will give their comments as usual
Meanwhile I will record all the results on a master sheet and add up the totals. We will then compare all the results and see if there is agreement. The eventual winners will be those with the highest combined total scores from all three sets of results. Should there be a tie we will vote by a show of hands.
Below includes the results of the competition. Thanks to our Judges Tony Broom, Mike Alport and the camera club members. Also thanks to Hazel Rathbone for doing the scoring.
